Biography of Dr.Barz
Victor Akpomon, popularly known as Dr.barz is a well known Port harcourt rapper, born in the early 90's into the family of 4 boys, singled as the 3rd child, he is from Edo State, but was brought up in Port harcourt city, where he attended his secondary and tertiary education in the Madonna University Port harcourt, a graduate of Micro biology.

 Early Life:
Barz grew up in a Hip-hop loving community, majorly influenced by top hip hop stars, likes of 50Cent, Lil wayne, T.I, Nas, J.Cole, etc, so he developed passion for music/rap while he was in school, and wrote his first song while about leavin his secondary school.

Barz, is known for hard work and consistence as a rapper in the city of Port harcourt! in 2016, he got his first major buzz after a series of live-on-air hip hop freestyles on Rhythm 93.7Fm's Rap Kulture, which featured several top stars in Nigeria and Port harcourt city.

Same year, victor barz became finalist in the rap kulture competition, barz has been putting effort in it, same year he performed live in concert with Mars and Barzini, live in port harcourt and other various top stars.

2017, after series of viral online fresstyle videos, Dr.Barz released his first official hit single titled: ''PhCity" an absolute banger which quickly turned into the city's anthem till this moment. This went to get him several accolades from radio stations like, Cool Fm, Beat Fm and Raypower Fm.
             
               Barz has continued to put work, as he got in 2018, hoping more this year, he came up with the Anti-Violence movement, #PunchLinesNotPeople, same year, he released another single titled: "Devil Dances Shoki", which gained lots of airplays and gave him more recognition in Port harcourt city. including his latest monster hit last year titled: "GPH", back2back with another last year too titled: "Gbege". Still expecting more from barz.

Barz has performed in various Concert/Shows in Port harcourt, couunted as all Shut Down! even as he hosted his first ever solo concert tagged "Behind barz" a completely sold out prison themed live band musical concert.

Awards:
This rapper is known for his spontaneous deliveries back to back as he emerged as winner of GMA (Galaxy Music Awards 2018) as Lyricist on the Roll
